AECP – In the Mood for Color

In my video I have shared how I created this beautiful card.  As with all my cards I hope I will provide inspiration to you and spark excitement to use the supplies you have on hand or to use those I have used.

In The Mood for Color:  Ethereal Glitter & Sparkle
Size: 5.5″ x 4.25″ Card Base / 5.5″ x 4.25″ Blue Cardstock / 5.25″x4″ Watercolor panel

The A2 Card Base is made from Neenah 110 lb. Classic Crest Card Stock and is 11″x4.25″ and scored at 5.5″

I applied embossing paste over the Mega Bloom stencil onto the watercolor panel.  Iridescent glitter was then sprinkled over the embossing paste and dried thoroughly. 

I dabbed Deep Blue Seas, Lapis Lazuli, Crystal Water and Shades of Purple watercolors from Altenew's Artist 24 Pan Set onto the embossing paste and the rest of the card panel to create this stunning panel.

The blue card stock was glued to the card base and then the watercolor panel was mounted to the card base with foam tape. 

The Happy Birthday sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Greetings Stamp Set was made using white embossing powder which was heat set and then attached with foam tape.
