AECP – Easy Ink Blending Techniques

Another wonderful class in the Altenew Education Certification Program. This program includes 2 levels consisting of 10 classes each. This level 1 class is Easy Ink Blending Techniques.

The card I made for this class utilizes the beautiful Foliage Stencil from Altenew.

1.) On a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of Neenah Solar white 80 lb card stock, I blended Altenew’s Sweet Leaf ink on the first stencil layer. I then blended the second layer with Altenew’ Just Green Ink.
2.). Next Die cut a 3.5” x 4.75” rectangle from the panel.
3.) On a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of Neenah Solar white 80 lb card stock, I blended Altenew’s Sweet Leaf Ink around the edges and created a marbling effect by using a little more pressure when building up the ink. This provides my perfectly matching card stock, which was a technique taught by the class instructor.
4.) Stamp the Thanks Sentiment from Altenew’s Mini Thanks Stamp Set in Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
5.) Glue the panel to an A2 Neenah solar white 110 lb. card base
6.) I also added several sequins and white Nuvo drops to my card front for embellishments

Happy blending everyone!
